Services and Facilities

The Glasshouse is a multi-function space situated in the heart of the Creative Industries Precinct. Its highly flexible design makes it suitable for conferences, presentations, launches, trade displays and receptions. The Glasshouse can be hired as the one venue or two smaller spaces.

Capacity

Up to 75 theatre style, 28 boardroom style and 300 cocktail style.

The Specifics

Glasshouse 1, 12m x 7m
Equipped with fixed data projector, retractable screen - 2m x 1.5m, input for computer to projector, (NB. there is no fixed computer in The Glasshouse), integrated sound system for computer input, DVD, VHS, CD player. Microphone available on request.

Glasshouse 2, 5.5m x 3.8m
Kitchen Equipped with bar fridge, glass washer, microwave oven

The spaces may be booked separately or, by retracting the sound-attenuated wall between Glasshouse 1 and Glasshouse 2 , as a single larger space.

We recommend the following caterers:

*There is a requirement to offer Caxton St Catering the right to quote, however hirers are not obliged to accept this quote.

Parking

Street parking available. Disabled parking is located on Carraway St. Special VIP parking may be available for a limited number of client vehicles.
